簡介

 

本空間成立於2011年春，鄰近北美館座落於台北晴光市場商圈附近隸屬於「台灣攝影三劍客」之一的李鳴鵰先生所創辦之新中美貿易公司。

 

因位於建築的第八層，故八樓當代藝術空間之名以此為由來，本藝術空間將以推廣新世代的台灣當代視覺藝術創作及支持新銳視覺藝術創作者為起點，藉由推廣台灣當代視覺藝術創作，致力成為國內新世代的視覺藝術交流空間。

 

Introduction

 

Floor 8 was established in the spring of 2011, located in the STC Trade Company  belong to Mr. Li, Ming-Diao who is the one of Three Taiwanese Musketeers of photography.

 

Due to the space located at the eighth floor of the building, so we named this space ” Floor 8 contemporary art space “. We want to promote the new generation of  Taiwanese contemporary visual art works and artists as our starting point. Than try to become the important space of visual art and communication in Taiwan.
